We've now crossed onto Flakstadoya which is the next of the Lofoten islands. According to our Norway book there are long sandy beaches along the west coast so we've headed down a dirt track to find them. Unfortunately there are no sandy beaches to speak of so we pulled into a lay-by for the night.
