Knivskjellodden

After 4000 miles we're finally made it as far north as we can go.
We've about to set out on the hike to Knivskjellodden which is the true top of Europe.


Full winter hiking gear - the weather is unpredictable and changes fast this far north.
 

It's a 9km trek (each way) across fairly rough terrain.
 

Nordkapp (the tourist trap) is 1500m south of Knivskjellodden
 

Over halfway to Knivskjellodden, perhaps it would've been easier to settle with going to Nordkapp like most normal people...

We finally made it.....

 

 .... and signed the book to prove we'd arrived.!
