After another 100miles driving today through Arctic tundra with no trees and very little growing we've stopped for the night in a layby next to a lake.
At the lakeside in the middle of nowhere (and with no mobile signal) we found this lovely BBQ area - we would later see several of these around the country. So nice to see something that's obviously well cared for - there's no vandalism or graffiti here. Someone had even left their sharpened twig for the next person to use when cooking over the fire!
