For our second day on the campsite, and leaving Kiki looking like a Chinese laundry, we have come back to Enkhuizen on our scooter to explore the town which we saw briefly yesterday en-route to the museum.
The old harbour with the Drommedoris in the background. This building was used to keep watch over the harbour entrance, presumably to collect harbour dues.

The kitchens of these 17th Century houses were extended over the water - a trapdoor allowed water to be drawn from the canal.
