Real Alcazar, Seville

Today is our last day in Seville and we are visiting the Real Alcazar (Royal Residence) which was built in 1364.

We were immediately struck by the similarity to the Alhambra in Granada - lots of ornate plasterwork, tiles and intricately carved woodwork.

Lots of quiet, shady courtyards

The Pottery Garden

Part of the gardens - lots of running water
