Goodbye to the Mediterranean

Today we've come to Tarifa - the most southerly point of mainland Europe and the gateway to the Mediterranean. From now on we'll be on the Atlantic coast.
The pure white sand of the Costa de la Luz

The last view of the Mediterranean

Spain really hasn't got the tourist thing sorted and needs to take some lessons from Lands End or the Lizard! The lighthouse on the most southerly point is surrounded by an ugly concrete military "installation" which is out of bounds. There wasn't even a shop selling fridge magnets!!
