We've come to the Dominion in London for the 10th Anniversary Performance of We Will Rock You. What an awesome show - we even had a solo performance from Brian May!

This is the third album by the British rock group Queen, released on 1st November 1974. It was produced by Queen and Roy Thomas Baker and distributed by EMI. The album..... ok, ok enough Queen trivia thank you Em!

Kiki Gardening Again

We left Kiki at Warren Bay Campsite whilst we went to Zakynthos. Unfortunately they did not have a hardstanding available so we had to leave her on the grass. Heavy rain before and whilst we were away made the grass a bit boggy.

Our Last Day

Sadly we're at the end of our fabulous week here in Zakynthos. Our vitamin D levels and our tan's are topped up ready for the big day in June.

Emmy's Fire

We spotted this rather elaborate performance the last time we ate in this restaurant and Em decided she wanted some of that!


This Greek dish is Kleftiko which is slow roasted lamb with lemon, cinamon and vegetables.

The Blue Caves

Today we're visiting the Blue Caves which are on the North Eastern coast of Zakynthos

The End of Another Road

There we were driving along, enjoying the scenery when suddenly the road came to an abrupt end!


Ok it's on foot from here boys and girls.
 

Fortunately it's lunchtime so we walk on down the track....
 

 

.... where we discover steps down to a rocky beach - perfect for lunch.

Only two other guests this week!
Early in the season so the pool wasn't warm enough to swim in yet.

Day three on Zakynthos and we're exploring more of the East coast.


The scenery is very nice!

 

A normal Greek harbour consists of a pile of stones affording some shelter from the prevailing winds.

At the End of the Road

This afternoon as we were driving around the island we came to what was literally the end of the road - the road had collapsed at this beautiful bay.


A bit of a scramble down the rocks but it was worth it!

Road Trip - around the Island

Today we decided the best way to get our bearings was to drive all of the way around the island.

Turtle Beach

This afternoon we're at Turtle Beach. Our mission is to check the sea temperature.


Pretty Beach - carefully placed parasols avoid the turtle nesting areas!
 

Em braves the water - and finds it's quite warm if a little shallow!

Zakynthos Town

This is our first morning in Zakynthos so we decide to head into the capital town.

Here we are in Zakynthos for a bit of early season sun. Dinner this evening is Saganaki and fried Aubergines followed by Moussaka - when in Greece :-)
